At Hurree, our passion for innovation extends beyond the realm of technology; it encompasses a profound commitment to the welfare of our furry friends. If you follow us on Instagram or TikTok, you’ll see we are an office of dog lovers, in particular our CEO, Aaron, who is a devoted dog dad to his four girls, Boodles, Etsu, Roku and Hendrix.
We understand the importance of giving back when and where we can and as part of our corporate social responsibility, we regularly contribute to society through charitable donations within our local community. An avid dog lover, Aaron knows only too well the importance of looking after his beloved pets, so this year Hurree has donated over £5,500 for an advanced shockwave therapy machine for our local veterinary rehabilitation clinic, Vet Rehab NI.
Shockwave therapy is a groundbreaking approach in veterinary medicine and offers a ray of hope for pets suffering from chronic and painful musculoskeletal conditions. This non-invasive, pain-free treatment employs acoustic shockwaves targeted precisely at the injured area. The process stimulates the body's natural healing mechanisms, enhancing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and triggering the release of healing growth factors. This not only speeds up recovery but also contributes to significant long-term improvement in mobility and quality of life for our canine companions. The procedure is quick and stress-free, as it is neither painful nor intrusive. Pet owners can stay by the animals’ side, offering comfort and reassurance, and maybe a set of ear muffs as the machine can be quite noisy at times!
“We’re so thrilled that Hurree generously donated to Vet Rehab NI, allowing us to purchase an Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy Machine for the clinic recently. This machine will enable us to help so many more of our patients with chronic back pain and other conditions. We are incredibly grateful to Hurree for their help! Thank you!”

Vet Rehab NI also has a large indoor heated pool and underwater treadmill for hydrotherapy. The costs to heat their 21,000-litre pool to the required 31 degrees are substantial and have skyrocketed recently due to the increasing fuel costs, so we are thrilled to be able to help this local business in some way.
Alongside shockwave and hydrotherapy, Vet Rehab NI offer acupuncture, medical grade laser, pulse magnetic therapy, behaviour consultations, therapeutic ultrasound, juvenile dog fitness clinic and veterinary herbal medicine - the second vet in Northern Ireland to offer this service. They are a highly progressive practice in exploring new treatments and it's clear to see how much the staff at Vet Rehab NI care for their patients. There is an increasing demand for a holistic approach to small animal health, defined as treating the whole dog. They understand that diet, lifestyle and fitness levels play a huge part in canine ageing health - the same as humans!
“This is more than a financial contribution to us at Hurree; it's a reflection of our core values, mirroring our love for animals and our dedication to their well-being. Vet Rehab NI provides the highest level of care to pets in both chronic pain management and rehabilitation and they are extremely passionate about what they do. We are very proud to be able to help them on their journey.”
